Having bought 3 cutting mats and a heavy-duty rotary cutter yesterday, I got to work on the rest of the fabric. Very, very tedious. And yet not mindless, since you have to think about getting the most pieces out of each yard, and colors, and other stuff.
Have pursued several avenues to get more materials and have several ideas: sent a letter to the neighbors; contacted a foreclosure clean-up company; will contact theaters like Fox and Alliance for their scenery/costume discards (got that one from the NYT). Still no reliable source of bubblewrap although we have enough of our own to get us through April, I think.
We need a patent lawyer and a business lawyer, plus a checking account. Need to advertise for the Earth Day sale on the OC web site and maybe in the News Trib? Oh, and need to make another 30-40 LapTopWraps.
